The Philadelphia Eagles released their third and final official injury report on Friday in advance of their Week 3 home game against the Indianapolis Colts. The following two Eagles players have been ruled out: Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles. Neither running back participated in practice this week. Ajayi is dealing with a back injury he suffered in Week 2 while Sproles is still recovering from a hamstring injury that occurred during practice last week. With Ajayi and Sproles out Womens Brandon Brooks Jersey , the Eagles’ backfield is down to just Corey Clement, Wendell Smallwood, and Josh Adams. Making matters worse for the Eagles is that Clement was added to the injury report on Friday with a quad issue. The good news is that the Inquirer is reporting Clement should be OK for Sunday’s game. Otherwise, being down to just Smallwood and Adams is really bad. In either case, I think it’s fair to expect the Eagles to throw the ball a lot on Sunday.Interestingly enough, Alshon Jeffery has not been ruled out for this week’s game; he’s questionable. It still doesn’t seem like he’s likely to play considering he was limited in practice all week and Doug Pederson said he still hasn’t been cleared for contact. But the fact he at least has a chance to play is encouraging and bodes well for his status moving forward. Assuming Jeffery CAN’T play, the Eagles will be down to just Nelson Agholor, Kamar Aiken, Shelton Gibson, and Jordan Matthews at wide receiver. In other words Youth Nate Gerry Jersey , the Eagles will be without three of their top four receivers. Not ideal!I found Pederson’s comment about JMatt on Friday kind of interesting:Not exactly effusive praise there.Moving on, Jason Peters has also been ruled questionable to play. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. Both Pederson and then Peters himself have said he’s going to play this weekend. Hopefully he’ll be able to stay in the game unlike last week.Kamu Grugier-Hill is questionable to play after being added to the injury report on Friday. The Eagles’ special teams captain and weakside linebacker is dealing with a groin issue. Hopefully he’ll be ready. Last, but certainly not least, Carson Wentz was not listed on the report which means he’s officially good to go for Sunday. Great to know that No. 11 will be back under center on Sunday.PHILADELPHIA EAGLES INJURY REPORT (FRIDAY)OUT RB Jay Ajayi (back)RB Darren Sproles (groin)QUESTIONABLEWR Alshon Jeffery (shoulder)OT Jason Peters (quad)LB Kamu Grugier-Hill (groin)RB Corey Clement (quad)...RESERVE/PHYSICALLY UNABLE TO PERFORMS Chris MaragosRESERVE/NON-FOOTBALL INJURYDT Timmy JerniganRESERVE/INJUREDCB Elie BoukaWR Mack HollinsCB D.J. Hassan Ridgeway and Quincy Wilson were also ruled out. Wilson is a key role player for the Colts who has played 71.4% of the team’s snaps so far.Indy’s pass protection takes a hit with Castonzo and Doyle, a blocking tight end who played 95% of the Colts’ offensive snaps through the first two weeks, both missing this game. The Eagles’ defensive line should have ample opportunities to win up front and create pressure on Andrew Luck with Le’Raven Clark and Joe Haeg starting at the offensive tackle positions. Starting safety Clayton Geathers is listed as questionable. He sat out on Wednesday and practiced in full on Thursday but ended up not practicing again on Friday. Weird week for him. Bad news for the Colts’ secondary if he can’t suit up.Wide receiver T.Y. Hilton returned to practice on Friday after sitting out on both Wednesday and Thursday. He’s not listed on the injury report so he’ll be playing, as expected.OUTDT Denico Autry (ankle)OT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring)TE Jack Doyle (hip)RB Marlon Mack (foot Youth Sidney Jones Jersey , hamstring)DT Hassan Ridgeway (calf)CB Quincy Wilson (concussion)QUESTIONABLES Clayton Geathers (knee, elbow)CB Chris Milton (concussion)...RESERVE/RETIREDOG Jack MewhortRESERVE/SUSPENDED BY COMMISSIONERRB Robert TurbinRESERVE/INJUREDWR Deon CainDT Johnathan CalvinS Chris CooperCB Robert JacksonQB Brad KaayaDL Tyquan LewisS Ronald MartinS Robenson TherezieTE Ross TravisOT J’Marcus WebbWR James WrightEagles trade talk, line play, and the horrors of NFL Game Pass The Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles sit at 2-3 and are literally and figuratively limping into a critical division game against the 1-4 New York Giants. There’s a lot of noise about who is to blame and what we need to be concerned about and The Kist & Solak Show aims to put things in the proper perspective. The offensive line has struggled, that can’t be denied, but are we focusing too much on one or two bad reps from really good players? That may be the case with Lane Johnson, who has been on the bad end of some key plays recently, but if you watch him bell-to-bell, you could argue he’s played relatively well while still being deserving of some criticism. In fact, that’s exactly what we argue while also attempting to bring some much needed context to why those breakdowns in pass pro happened.Additionally Youth Cameron Johnston Jersey , Isaac Seumalo had a rough start against the Minnesota Vikings, how did he bounce back from that? Mental toughness is an important trait for any player to have, and we felt that if you look at his performance beyond the opening portion of the game, that he was a pleasant surprise.Look, the line isn’t playing great or terrible, and they are definitely not playing to the level to which they are capable, but some of the talk being thrown around is a bit much. Bring it back down to earth by listening to The Kist & Solak Show. Or don’t and yell at us in the comments, whatever you need to do in these tough times is all good.Other topics include the horrors of NFL Game Pass and the related Missing Case of the All-22 and of course trade talk regarding the big three running backs (you know who they are) and a safety that could be on the radar.Stream it on the media player below or click here if the player doesn’t load. Coming next we have two preview shows for you from The Kist & Solak Show and BGN Radio.
